This MATLAB Crash Course workshop, hosted for students of the Florida Institute of Technology, provided a comprehensive introduction to MATLAB essentials. Tailored for beginners and conducted remotely via Zoom, the workshop covered fundamental MATLAB operations, data manipulation, basic programming concepts, and visualization techniques.

Workshop Overview

Students were introduced to:

  • MATLAB Interface and Basics: Navigating the interface, creating variables, and performing basic operations.
  • Data Analysis and Plotting: Techniques for visualizing data using MATLAB’s built-in plotting tools.
  • Programming Fundamentals: Basic control structures (loops, conditionals) and scripting practices for efficient coding.
